Lipo 6 is certainly a popular fat burner but can it really deliver the fat burning results you are after?

The original Lipo 6 contained the now banned Ephedra, this new version is not too different except the Ephedra has been removed. This fat burner is popular with fitness fanatics due to claims from Nutrex that it will help you become leaner in those well known fatty areas.

Lipo 6 ingredients

Lipo 6 contains 6 key ingredients that are key to increasing fat burning mainly through increasing metabolism through the process of thermogenics. Unlike many fat burners, Lipo 6 provide the ingredients in liquid pill form.

Caffeine Anhydrous – provides more energy for the body and increases your alertness
Citrus Aurantium (Synephrine) – helps activation of 3 critical fat receptor fighting agents, is a chemical cousin to Ephedra
Yohimbine HCL (tree bark) – blocks all three alpha receptor located in the fat cells of the upper thighs, so helps reduce fat deposits in these areas
Coleus Forskohlii – increases natural thyroid function which generally reduces during dieting
Bioperine – increases the absorption rate of all the fat burning compounds
Carnitrex – Lipo-6 name for carnitine, which helps in oxidising fatty acids

Lipo 6 side effects

The high caffeine levels in Lipo 6 may adversely affect those who are sensitive to stimulants. Other side effects from Nutrex Lipo 6 include, anxiety, nausea, upset stomach and feeling on edge.

Avoid taking Lipo 6 in the evening or you will be kept awake all night!

Individuals with pre-existing blood sugar and thyroid conditions may experience instability in blood sugar and thyroid levels.

Summary of Lipo 6

According to Nutrex the main selling point for Lipo 6 is the ability to target fatty areas (similar to Innov Patch) and these are specific to gender – So if your a women, reduce fat in your buttocks and thighs, and if you are a guy, reduce fat around your belly!

Significant targeted fat loss is physiologically impossible! Any minor changes are probably due to hormonal changes. Any fat loss will occur around your body and no pill or patch can target fatty areas with pin-point accuracy.

One of the main ingredients in Lipo 6, Synephrine is included in many fat burners, we are unsure why as Synephrine has largely been discredited. Some of the other ingredients have shown some beneficial weight loss properties, but there is a severe lack of scientific proof for Lipo 6.

As a result of the lack of scientific evidence, bold claims that are very unlikely and the large number of side effects we would not recommend Lipo 6 by Nutrex. Instead we would suggest looking at clinically proven fat burners that can really deliver on their claims, free from side effects.
